The new omnichannel logistics centre is scheduled to begin operations in the second half of this year and will be fully operational in early 2025. Once in operation, these facilities will have involved a total investment of more than 25 million euros for Tendam.

With 63,000 m2 of warehouse space, it was conceived as a turnkey project, in accordance with Tendam’s needs and specifications, and will expand storage capacity and garment outlets, as well as customer service levels. Conceived to support mainly Tendam’s digital channel, it provides the company with an expanded logistics capacity in view of the company’s future expansion and the expected growth of the online business.

Jaume Miquel, chairman of the board and CEO of Tendam, sa

“In FY2023 Tendam’s online revenues exceeded €187 million, an increase of almost 9% compared to 2022 and more than 20% compared to 2021. Tendam is well positioned for further growth with the expansion of its digital channel, underpinned by the expected structural increase in online penetration in key markets such as Spain, Portugal and Mexico, where online penetration is relatively low compared to other advanced economies.

The new logistics facility in Illescas will primarily serve the online business of our own and third-party brands and provides us with flexibility for operations arising from expected future growth”.

The centre extends over a floor area of 37,990 m², including 2,400 m² of office space, and has a storage area of 63,000 m². It has a preparation and dispatch capacity of up to 24 million garments per year and is designed to allow for expansion to 30.2 million garments per year in a second phase. This infrastructure not only improves the level of service to customers, but also optimises efficiency in operations.
